A Small Nudge, A Big Idea.

I’ve been sitting with this for a while now, hesitating to share. But sometimes, you just have to start. So, here’s a little bit about my story—and an idea that’s been quietly growing.

The name Go-Differently is as much for me as it is for you. It’s a reminder that things don’t have to stay the same. Over the past few years, I’ve been exploring how to walk a different path. One that doesn’t just sustain, but gives back—to people, to nature, to the world we share.

I’ve taken courses, spent time reflecting in nature, and literally dug my hands into the soil—growing organic food and regenerating the land. Along the way, I’ve been asking big questions about our well-being and the cost of our consumption on the planet. It’s heavy stuff, sometimes overwhelming. But it’s also the kind of truth we can’t ignore.

So, what can one imperfect person do? Someone who still flies sometimes, drives an oil-fired car, and enjoys the comforts of life in the Global North?

The answer: Begin somewhere.

The Idea

Go-Differently is my attempt to create something that nurtures both people and nature. A business with a clear purpose: regeneration, not depletion. It’s not perfect, but it’s honest, and it’s a beginning.

How We’ll Go Differently

🌿 Reinvesting in Regeneration
Profits and time will go directly into projects that support people and nature—moving away from the traditional model of taking more than we give.

🌿 Ethical Governance
From day one, Go-Differently will be guided by ethics, not shareholders. Stakeholders will include nature itself.

🌿 Well-being at the Core
Well-being isn’t just for the people we work with; it’s for us too. Time in nature and staying true to our purpose will be built into how we operate. Our ESG targets will make business personal.

🌿 Meaningful Actions Every Day
For me, this means giving back to my community and the planet in thoughtful, consistent ways every day.

It’s not perfect, and it might sound a bit idealistic. But it’s about doing what we can and staying committed to something better.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—on the name, the idea, or any small ways you’re trying to go differently.
